A LONG-WAITED CLASS OUTING IS FINALLY GOING TO BE HERE! (: excited? (: here to give more info on the class outing! (:

Date: 1st December 2009 Tuesday
Time: starts at around 8am.
Venue: Jurong Safra
Things to bring: umbrella / raincoat, water bottle, handphone (we need to contact u if u are late), money for lunch / emergencies, insect repellent (optional). Most imptly, rmb to bring urself. (:

Currently 24 ppl going and 11 ppl not going. The rest are not confirmed yet. Sms me if u wan to noe who's going and who's not.

Of course, I have to apologise, sry but there's some rules or things dat u'll have to take note of.
Firstly, skirts and tight-fitting jeans are not advisable.
Secondly, no revealing clothes (FBTs are allowed).
Thirdly, pls wear approriately.
NO high heels.
Pls be on time.
Do not bring too much things. (travel light (: )
Drink plenty of water.

In case some of you don't know, we had a mass conversation on MSN today at 8PM. The details below has thus been decided by all of us.
A very big thank you to all that have participated; Alissa, Andrea, Binggeng, Celester, Charmaine, Emelia, Jeffery, Kaiwei, Liwen, Pearlie, Mingsiew, Renwei, and last but not least, myself! :D Sorry if I missed out anyone.

Okay, that's all I know -.-
We still need schedules for NPCC, NCC, Scouts, Red Cross, Table Tennis etc. If you are free, do inform us :) If you're not then never mind! Hahah.
Also, if you are going overseas, do tell us from when to when and we'll try our best to move our outing to a date when most people can be there :D

People going overseas (that I know of) are Renwei (start of school holidays till near end of December?) , Zhuoer (end of November to end of December?) , May (this week till December the 2nd) , Jeffery (13th December till 15th December) , etc.

The current date that Celester and others have set is 1st December 2009. This date is not to be confirmed yet though. The venue is... not confirmed too. It's either East Coast Park, Sentosa or Jurong Safra. The cost is $0 (I think?), this is not inclusive of your own expenditure like food (no longer provided). Dress code is casual, if I'm not wrong, as on a hot warm day in Singapore, it would be a torture to wear a black shirt and perspire all over. Also, with everyone staring at your back (at the names LOL).

Since we can't decide where to go, let's now weigh the pros and cons of the places we want to go!
Okay, so;

EAST COAST PARK
Pros; No entrance fee charged, good food there, the most voted place of the class
Cons; Toilets are very dirty (._.), inconvenient to get there, dirty waters (hard to play any water games)

Pros; Clean, nice (LOL), some people want to go there, clean waters (good to play water games with)
Cons; Entrance fee of $3 charged, inconvenient to get there, not a lot of people wants to go

JURONG SAFRA
Pros; No entrance fee charged, convenient to get to (5 minutes for quick people, 10 minutes for slow -.- from Boon Lay Interchange), a large field nearby/tennis court inside Safra for playing of any games, lunch can be eaten at Jurong Point before going Safra
Cons; I can't think of any at the moment. Can you?

Hello.
-Even though exams haven't even started, I just have to post about class outing. Haha-
Just to let you know about class outing; NOTHING IS REALLY CONFIRMED YET. People please don't get too excited okay. LENG JING MAN. (:

However I can tell you that we are going to Sentosa. At Sentosa we'd be most likely be playing in the water. And so, I can only conclude that;
DO BRING EXTRA CLOTHES. (!!!!!)
Plus towel, underwear(GIRLS! NEED TO BRING ARH), etc. If you don't know you can shower there in the toilets, so if you want to then bring your toiletries along. However it's just ONE BIG SHOWER with no doors so I think girls, we'll need to shower with clothes on.
Speaking of girls, I'll laugh very hard if any girl WEARS WHITE(or skirts). Well the girls won't mind la, since you want to let the boys see. -.-
However, if you didn't bring extra clothes then don't go into the water and get up all wet, crying you have no other clothes, and ask us what to do. We also don't know.

After Sentosa maybe we can go to the Vivo City nearby to eat. The sea air makes you very hungry (:

The outing may end quite late actually. Might take you till 10p.m to reach home so please inform your parents. We're considering giving all of you a consent form each(kudos to Jeffery!) informing your parents :D Haha. Then we'll state,"We will not be responsible for any damage caused to your child." or something. So if you get hurt or something, we will not pay for any insurance.

Just like Emelia had mentioned, yes, we will be making some food to take to Sentosa to eat. Mostly finger food. Maybe not necessary sushi? As we would need to use Japanese Rice or something and cook the rice and need the materials to make the sushi. I think we'll be bringing sandwiches. A group of girls would go to (most likely) Simgeok's house to prepare the food (:

Each of us must pay at the least $5. Don't complain, as we might be preparing the food plus the $5 include the $3 to get into Sentosa. If there is remaining money, it'll go into Class Fund(I think). Don't think we'll eat the money okay. However, food would NOT be provided for dinner if we go Vivo City for dinner. So do remember to bring extra cash.

Hope everyone would cooperate and make it a successful first ever 1R1 class outing! :D And do leave one day free for the class outing (:

Just a short update on stuff.

I know that lots of R1-rians want a class outing, and it's not like we didn't want to plan one, LOL. I have discussed it with our Monitress Peixuan and she told me that there are 3 factors we have to take note of if we want to have a class outing.

Date - Must plan out which day all of us are free.
Venue - A chalet? Or just a picnic by the beach?
Cost - Is the class fund enough? Or we have to pay separately again? For example, a class chalet would be very costly... it might reach $600 or more. Are people willing to pay all that for class chalet?

But I still think the most important thing is the cost. (:

However, the only thing I'm sure of now is that there are no class outings currently ): The reason is mainly because a lot of people still have not even finished half of their holiday homework(COUGH... ooops).

But once if the organisers want to organise one then rest assure that they'll contact you :D The main organiser(s) is Peixuan, I think. Consult the Monitor/Assistant Monitor/Assistant Monitress as well if you have any other queries.

Uhyeah that's about it. Tata! :D

Should be what all the students in Secondary One Express Stream in FuHua would be screaming about. Yes, it's finally over after three weeks. We can cheer, laugh, and celebrate.

I was wondering if the class tee was ordered already, I heard that Jessica was in charge of that. I hope it's ordered soon, best before the June Holidays. Speaking of the June Holidays, our class seemed to be the only class ordering the table seats in the whole of Secondary One for FuHua's 10th Anniversary... Imagine having the whole hall to ourselves. EPIC. Haha. I'm rambling over here, I hope no one minds.

Let's have a fun time during the Anniversary then! Be the proud students of 1R1'09 and enjoy ourselves!

I have edited the template and put in our full names.
Those who do not want to disclose their full names, please tag in the tagboard and I'll change it. (So far, only Pearlie and Celester required a change.)
I wanted to put in our CCAs as well, but that we'll have to wait till we get all the CCAs the people are in, and I have to wait for comments. PLEASE COMMENT ASAP.

Hey, this is Shi Cheng here... I supposed everyone knows me? Good. Anyways, this is the new class blog.. I'm aware that there's another one around, but I heard that it's registered under Charmaine's Blogger account.. So I made this individual FUHUA-1R1'09 Blogger account for our class blog :D
